Abstract

A fabric for use in making tea bags (see Division B8) is formed from net or woven fabric in which the meshes are about 0.3 mm square and the separating strands or threads of from 0.05-0.1 mm thickness. The threads have a smooth surface and may be of a plastic such as nylon or polypropylene.
