Abstract

1,020,469. Bobbin holders. K. NIMTZ. Sept. 11, 1964 [Sept. 12, 1963; April 11, 1964], No. 37315/64. Heading D1J. [Also in Division E2] A device for the reception of tubular bobbin cores between bobbin holding arms 2, 4 of a winding frame comprises centering plates 6 for the core and ball and socket connections 5, 7 whereby the centering plates 6 can be secured to the arms 2, 4 in a press-fastener fashion. As shown a ballheaded pin 5 is screwed, riveted or cast into each arm 2, 4, and the sockets 7 are designed to be clipped on to the ball head of the pin in the manner of a press fastener. Several embodiments of the ball and socket are described and illustrated (see Division E2).
