Abstract

1,018,687. Mathematical drawing-appliances. FILLER & FIEBIG G.m.b.H. Oct. 20, 1964 [Oct. 26, 1963], No. 42662/64. Heading B6P. A scribing instrument comprises a scribing arm 1 carrying a pen 4 and formed of synthetic plastic material formed with a down-turned rim to define a cavity which accommodates, at the end opposite to the pin, a weight in the form of a metal disc having a central aperture through which passes a tail pin and a peripheral notch engaging a lug on the arm to prevent rotation of the weight. A tracer arm 2 of synthetic plastic material is releasably clamped to the arm 1 by a screw and a knob 7, and carries a tracer pin 3.
