A fastener for fixing cables to walls or floors is formed from a polyethylene strip by threading one end through an eye provided in a built-up portion at the other end, a nail then passing through both ends to retain the loop and fix the clip to the floor or wall. A boss 14 on the builtup portion forms a seat for the nail head.
