A sealing strip comprises a strip 1 of sponge rubber moulded around the heads 3a of longitudinally disposed one piece nylon fasteners 3, there being a layer of woven material 2 e.g. canvas impregnated with rubber, or pads of similar material secured to the strip, with the shank of each fastener 3 passing through the layer 2 or a pad, which acts as a reinforcement or backing for the sealing strip.
