Abstract
1,016,129. Mixing appliances. J. MORITZ March 18, 1964 [March 19, 1963], No. 11374/64. Addition to 944,989. Heading B1C. Mixing apparatus comprises a rotor 7 having a skirt 9 surmounted by a rim 11 ; there are passages 12 from the inside to the outside of the rim and inclined blades 10 within the skirt. In operation the skirt only is immersed in liquid and rotation of the rotor causes liquid to rise in it and be ejected through the passages 12. A second liquid or a powder or gas may be supplied or conducted within the rim 11. The passages 12 are tapered as shown, and their axes are inclined to the radial.
