Abstract

Guards and protectors.- In order to prevent theft of an electric lamp bulb 13, the framework 5 of the guard is secured to its supporting- plate 1 by nuts 8, which are provided with holes, recesses, or slots, or otherwise constructed, to engage with a correspondingly - shaped tool, and are arranged in collars 3 on, or recesses in, the plate 1. The plate 1 is shown supported between nuts 10 by the fitting 11, but in a modification, it is formed as a dish-shaped reflector and supported from the lamp-holder 12.
