Abstract

1,014,565. Boat trailers. J. P. DOBSON. Dec. 14, 1962 [Sept. 15, 1961], No. 33238/62. Heading B7B. A boat trailer comprises a frame 2 having a towing connection 4 and a boat-supporting member 9 and is supported on wheels 6 which may have resilient suspensions 5. In use the bridging member 10 is slid towards the connection 4, the frame raised to a vertical position so that the resilient roller 9a is adjacent the ground to enable it to be inserted beneath a floating boat, and then bringing the frame 2 down to raise and support the boat. The member 10 is then slid rearwardly to provide additional support. The member 10 may be pivotally mounted at one end on a slide and releasably held at the other.
