Abstract

[Also in Division H5] Hot air is blown through the waveguide of a microwave oven to prevent condensation. As described, the waveguide follows a zigzag path, Fig. 1 (not shown), and is split into upper and lower sections 10, 11 between which the material 12 to be heated is passed. The roof of the upper part of the waveguide has slots 18 communicating with an air channel 16 above.
