1,012,054. Skirting and gully members. OSTARA MOSAIK-UND WANDPLATTENFABRIK J. FAULHABER G.m.b.H. Aug. 7, 1962 [April 11, 1962], No. 30141/62. Heading E1V. A member for use in skirting, or as a drainage channel or gully member is formed with two opposite marginal regions 11 directed at an obtuse angle to a base 9 and with edges 10 at right angles to the base, a groove being provided in the rear surface of the member to allow for easy division into two pieces. As illustrated, the member is provided with a horizontal weakening groove 12a which may receive a wire 13 used to connect several members together. In an alternative embodiment, a verical groove is provided for fracture. Ceramic, wood, plastics, metal, or stone material is used for the member and two members may be used adjacent and at right angles to each other, one as a skirting and one as a gully. An extra wide skirting may be obtained by fracturing a member such as that illustrated and using the two pieces with tiles inserted between them.
