Abstract

A composition for controlling plant-parasitic nematodes comprises as an active ingredient at least one oxazoline or thiazoline derivatives of the general formula <FORM:1011854/A5-A6/1> wherein X is oxygen or sulphur, in admixture with suitable carrier substances and/or distributing agents optionally with the addition of at least one other fungicidally, herbicidally, insecticidally or nematocidally active ingredient. The compositions may be in the form of powder for sprinkling, or in the form of liquids such as emulsions suspensions or solutions, and may also contain synthetic fertilisers such as calcium phosphate or other calcium potassium and/or ammonium salts-particularly the phosphates and nitrates.
