Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of general formula <FORM:1011551/C2/1> in which R is alkyl (1-4 C), hydroxyalkyl (1-4 C) or aralkyl (7-10 C); and their acid addition salts; and their preparation by reduction by known methods of corresponding 5-nitroso compounds, themselves obtainable by nitrosylation by known methods of the 5-unsubstituted compounds. N-R- 1,5-Diazacyclooctanes are obtainable by the reduction of quaternary compounds of general formula <FORM:1011551/C2/2> which result from the reaction of 1,2 -trimethylenepyrazolidine with compounds R-halogen or of a trimethylene dihalide with a compound RNHNH2. N - Alkyl - N1 - (3 - sulphamyl - 4 - chlorobenzoyl - amino - 1,5 - diazacyclooctanes are said to be obtained from compounds I on reaction with an appropriate benzoyl halide.
