Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of the general formula <FORM:1010073/C2/1> in which X is hydrogen; a straight or branched chain C1- 5-alkyl group; a phenyl group optionally substituted by one or more C1- 5 alkyl groups, a nitro group, halogens or C1-5-alkoxy groups; an aralkyl group optionally substituted in the phenyl ring by C1-5-alkyl or alkoxy groups, nitro groups or halogens; a halogen; a nitro group; a cyano group; a hydroxy group; a C1-5-alkoxy group; an aliphatic acyl group; an aromatic acyl group optionally substituted in the phenyl ring by C1-5-alkyl or -alkoxy groups, halogens or a nitro group; a C2- 6-alkoxycarbonyl group; an amino group; or an amino group substituted by alkyl or acyl groups; n is 1, 2 or 3, and when n is 2 or 3 the X's may be the same or different; m is 1 to 5; R is hydrogen, halogen, a hydroxy group; a straight or branched chain C1-5-alkyl group; a C1-5-alkoxy group; a C2-6-alkoxy carbonyl group; a nitro group; a cyano group; an amino, alkylamino or acylamino group; and i is 1 or 2, and when i is 2 the R's may be the same or different; and the preparation thereof by reacting a compound of the general formula <FORM:1010073/C2/2> or a metal salt thereof with a compound of the general formula <FORM:1010073/C2/3> wherein Z is a halogen or a reactive ester group (in the presence of a condensing agent when the metal salt is not employed).
