Abstract

100,908. Ellis, D. S., and Tidd, F. W. May 1, 1916. Mops; mop wringers.-In a combined mop and wringer, the mop cloth F is secured at one end to a pressure head B fixed to the handle A, and at its other end to a member E attached to the sleeve E<2> free to slide and rotate on the handle A, whereby the cloth, after use, can be drawn tight and wrung on the parallel parts B<1>, as shown in Fig. 11. The cloth is secured by cord or wire to transverse slats G, which are passed endways through the loops in the members B, E and then turned to bear thereon. A clip D is also used to hold the slat to the pressure head.
