Abstract

[Also in Division G1] Means for securing a cylindrical member such as a speedometer 14 and a panel aperture 12 comprises an abutment 15 integral with or secured to the member to abut against one face 16 of the panel, two or more resilient wheels 18 pivoted to the member for rotation about axes radial to the member and spaced around the member for engagement of the wheels against the other face of the panel, the latter being gripped between the abutment 15 and the wheels, and grooves or slots 22 on the edge of the aperture 12 and transverse to the plane of the panel 10 to allow passage of the wheels 18 through the panel, the cylindrical member then being rotatable about its axis to engage the wheels against the said other face of the panel. As shown, the wheels engage a groove 24 and stops 26 are provided, against which the wheels abut.
