Abstract

100,811. Chupka, M. March 22, 1916. Metallic spring bodies and cores.-A flexible rim 16, 17, Figs. 3 and 4, of leather, rubber, &c. carries a rope tread 18 and is supported by radial pairs of concentric helical springs 19, 20. The inner ends of the springs are secured by wire staples 22 to a soft band 21 carried by the inner rim. The outer ends of the springs are secured by wire clips 25 to circumferential tie-wires 26 fixed to the outer-rim.
