[Also in Divisions B1, B5 and F1 In an apparatus in which an additive contained in a flexible bag 177 is supplied to liquid flowing on a conduit 161 by the pressure drop across a constriction 162,(see Divisions B1 and B5) the bag when empty blocks the outflow to pipe 167 causing a slight increase of pressure across indicator 171, depressing diaphragm 173 so that is is visible in window 180; the diaphragm may be coloured. A modified pressure indicator 171<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 12, has a transparent body 181 and a diaphragm 183 having a resultant portion in which is vested an indicating member 184; the diaphragm and indicating member have contrasting colours to give a visual signal and there are also electrical contacts 192,193.
