Abstract

1,007,511. Dust extractors. E. SMALLWOOD & SON (AIR TREATMENT) Ltd. June 1, 1964 [April 30, 1963], No. 16910/63. Heading B1T. Filter bags 15 are internally supported by helical coils 17 interconnected by sinuous elements 18. Bags 15 are formed by a single folded length of cloth, clamping frames 19, 20 holding portions of cloth between adjacent bags which are formed by seaming adjacent edges of the length. The bag-support frame 13 is removably enclosed in a housing, Fig. 1 (not shown), which comprises an air-extraction pump, a motor-driven shaking frame whose paddles engage the bags and a dust receiving hopper and bin.
