100,725. Norton, G. H., Law, A., and Swift, G. Jan. 11, 1916. Pile-fabric looms.-The reciprocating carrier of a pile-cutting knife 2 for a loom weaving doublepile fabrics is made in two portions 1, 3 adjustable apart by means of nuts 9, 10 so as to take up any slackness between the carrier and the groove wherein it reciprocates. Slotted plates 6, 7 are tightened on to the top of the carrier by means of screws 8, to which the actuating-cords may be attached.
