Abstract

1,005,262. Animal drinking appliances. FISHER FOUNDRIES Ltd. May 22, 1963 [May 22, 1962], No. 19733/62. Heading A1M. In a drinking appliance of the kind in which water is supplied to the bowl 5 through a valve 17 actuated by the animal through a nose-plate, the noseplate comprises a flap 8 which is pivoted on a cowl extending upwardly from the bowl and carries a roller 11 for operating the valve. The flap 8 is adapted to make a free fit within and to close the opening 6 at the front of the cowl and abuts against stops 20 on the external surface of the bowl.
