Abstract
1,003,047. Moulding concrete panels. HEINRICH KROG, [trading as HEINRICH KROG]. Sept. 19, 1962 [Nov. 18, 1961; June 22, 1962], No. 35618/62. Heading B5A. Large concrete building panels are cast in an adjustable heatable mould which comprises a base plate 1 having stop members 2 fixedly mounted thereon, and stop members 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, adjustably mounted thereon by means of bolts 6. Moulding bars 7 and 8, defining the edge of the panel, bear against members 2 and similar bars 9, 10 bear against members 3a, 3b and 4a, 4b respectively, the bar 9 being replaceable by a bar of different size according to the position of bar 10 to give a larger or smaller mould. In a second embodiment, shown in Fig. 5, moulding bars 11, 12 and 14 rest against three fixed stop members 18 having a shape as shown in Fig. 6. A fourth moulding bar 15 is carried by a cross-member 151 which is adjustable along the members 18 by means of bolts 10 which run in grooves 18a, to give an adjustable mould. A cavity forming frame 19 may be clapped in a required position against the base plate by means of similar movable cross-members 16. The stop members 2 and 18 may be replaced by recesses in the base plate into which the moulding bars fit (see Fig. 8, not shown), and the moulding bars may be adapted to carry hollow truncated conical elements into which the ends of reinforcing members fit (see Figs. 9 and 10, not shown). The moulding bars, clamping bars and cavity forming members may be carried by a liner resting on the base plate 1 which liner abuts stop members as in Fig. 11, not shown.
