Abstract

1,141,681. Adjustable mould sides. MANNESMAN A.G. 8 March, 1966 [8 March, 1965; 5 Aug., 1965], No. 10207/66. Heading B5A. In a liquid-cooled plate mould of rectangular section, the narrower sides 1 are adjustable in position and inclination by means of threaded rods 2, 3 to which the sides 1 are pivotally connected, the rods 2, 3 being axially displaceable and guided by threaded portions 4, 5 in nut means 6, 7 driven through worm wheel portions 8, 9 by a common worm shaft 10. The rods 2, 3 may have different pitch or the worm wheel portions thereof 8, 9 may have different diameter or pitch.
