Abstract

In a television camera used in aerial reconnaissance an optical system forms an image of the object on the camera screen. To prevent blurring of the image the optical system is displaced relative to the camera in accordance with both the relative speed of the camera and object and their separation. The scanning means is synchronized with the movement of the optical system, the latter being operated by an electric motor through an adjustable cam system.
