Abstract
The frame, for a rail vehicle cabin, comprises a plurality of frame members defining front 30, base 62,64, roof 66 and side portions of the vehicle cabin, the frame comprising a plurality of yieldable regions 24,31,32,34,42,46 distributed in the frame members, whereby the front portion of the frame is allowed to controllably deform substantially in conformity with the forces of an impact on the frame. The cabin is a separate module from a main body 10 of the vehicle.
