Abstract

The transmission system comprises engine (10) with a starter circuit (10a) coupled through the clutch (14) such as a main friction drive clutch and a gearbox input shaft (15). Fuel is supplied to the engine via throttle (16) operated by a pedal (19). The clutch is actuated via release fork (20) and operated by hydraulic slave cylinder (22) under actuator control means (38). The mechanism and clutch actuation is controlled via an electronic controller (36).
