Abstract
L'invention concerne un bas de caisse pour l’implantation de batteries d’appoint dans un véhicule automobile à motorisation électrique, ledit bas de caisse comprenant une paroi extérieure (1), une doublure intérieure (3) délimitant au moins un logement pour les batteries d’appoint, une articulation (4) assurant le basculement du bas de caisse entre une position haute de fermeture où il s’étend dans le prolongement de la caisse (6) et une position basse d’ouverture et des moyens de verrouillage (5) du bas de caisse dans sa position de fermeture, caractérisé en ce qu’il comprend, en outre, un élément de renfort (2) monté de façon intercalaire entre la paroi extérieure (1) et la doublure intérieure (3) et destiné à absorber l’énergie cinétique résultant d’un éventuel choc latéral.
