Procédé de détection de l’éjection d’un passager d’un véhicule, comprenant - des étape (100, 200) d’acquisition et de traitement de données pour détecter la survenance d’un évènement accidentel nécessitant un appel d’urgence,- une étape (300) d’émission d’un appel d’urgence à partir d’un dispositif de communication équipant le véhicule, en cas de survenance d’un évènement accidentel nécessitant un appel d’urgence,- une étape (400) d’acquisition de données de passager à l’aide de capteurs de signaux radiofréquence de bande ultra-large,- une étape (500) de calcul de la position d’au moins un passager, à partir des données de passager obtenues à l’étape précédente, cette position étant transmise au cours d’une étape (600) de transmission. Véhicule équipé d’un système pour la mise en œuvre de ce procédé.
