L’invention concerne l’utilisation, comme fluide de refroidissement par immersion directe, d’une composition comprenant de 80 à 100% en poids, par rapport au poids total de la composition, ledit fluide hydrocarboné comprenant au moins 90% en poids d’un fluide hydrocarboné comprenant au moins 90% en poids d’isoparaffines et moins de 100 ppm en poids d’aromatiques, par rapport au poids total du fluide hydrocarboné, ledit fluide hydrocarboné présentant une biodégradabilité à 28 jours mesurée selon la norme OCDE 301B supérieure ou égale à 60%.
