Abstract

L’invention concerne un ascenseur comprenant : une cabine (14), une courroie (20) reliée à ladite cabine (14) et s’étendant d’une poulie d’entrainement (22) à une poulie de renvoi (24) en formant une boucle fermée ; un dispositif de commande (42) pour pouvoir commander ladite poulie d’entraînement (22) à une vitesse de rotation prédéfinie. L’ascenseur comprend en outre un dispositif de mesure (54, 55) relié audit dispositif de commande (42), pour mesurer la distance parcourue par ladite cabine (14), et ledit dispositif de commande (42) est adapté à commander : d’une part ladite poulie d’entraînement (22) en rotation d’une première vitesse de rotation à une seconde vitesse de rotation, tandis que ledit dispositif de mesure (54, 55) enregistre simultanément une distance d parcourue par ladite cabine ; et, d’autre part le déclenchement d’une première alerte si ladite distance d parcourue par ladite cabine (14) est inférieure à une première distance prédéterminée.
