Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de détection d’une fuite ou d’un sous gonflage d’un pneumatique d’une roue d’un véhicule, comprenant les étapes de : - mesure périodique, d’une valeur (VFP) caractéristique de l’empreinte au sol du pneumatique par un module pneumatique (14) ; - envoi, à une unité centrale électronique (12) équipant le véhicule, de la valeur caractéristique mesurée accompagnée d’une information d’identification (ID14) du module pneumatique ; - collecte, par l’unité centrale électronique, d’une valeur de charge (C) pour la roue correspondante ; - mémorisation (MEM), par l’unité centrale électronique et pour ladite roue, de la valeur caractéristique mesurée et de la valeur de charge collectée ; - détection d’une fuite ou d’un sous gonflage du pneumatique lorsque la valeur caractéristique mesurée pour ladite roue augmente tandis que la valeur de charge associée demeure constante ; - et alerte (AL) au conducteur le cas échéant.
