Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif d’arrêt d’un véhicule en mouvement. Si la vitesse non nulle du véhicule et l’absence d’une pression d’au moins une main du conducteur sur le volant sont détectées simultanément pendant au moins une première durée prédéterminée, déclenchement (521) d’un décompte temporel et déclenchement (522) d’une alerte à l’intérieur du véhicule ; à l’issu dudit décompte temporel, si la vitesse du véhicule n’a pas été diminuée d’un nombre de kilomètres par heure déterminé et si aucune pression n’a été appliquée sur le volant pendant une deuxième durée déterminée, une ou plusieurs actions sont mises en œuvre pour immobiliser et sécuriser le véhicule. Une notification est émise au conducteur pour l'informer d’un état du véhicule et d’une position géographique du véhicule.
