Abstract

Procédé d’ouverture d’un générateur électrochimique (10) comprenant une électrode négative (20) contenant du lithium ou du sodium et une électrode positive (30) contenant éventuellement du lithium ou du sodium, le procédé comprenant les étapes successives suivantes : a) immersion du générateur électrochimique (10), dans une solution comprenant un liquide inerte et, éventuellement, une espèce redox dite oxydante apte à être réduite sur l’électrode négative de manière à décharger le générateur électrochimique, b) ouverture du générateur électrochimique, dans la solution, avec un élément de découpe (100) ayant une résistance électrique comprise entre 1 mΩ et 1 kΩ, et de préférence entre 5 mΩ et 100 Ω.
