Description
The invention generally relates to a system and a method for manufacturing a layer of solid elements connected to each other via cables assembled beforehand in the form of a frame having a first plurality of nodes where two cables distinct are connected to each other, said layer of solid elements including a plurality of solid elements made by depositing a hardenable pasty material in a mold including a plurality of cavities encompassing said nodes of the weft.
The present invention falls particularly, but not exclusively, in the general field of construction, and more particularly in the field of the exterior cladding of buildings for purposes not only aesthetic, but also visual, acoustic and solar protection. The invention may also be used in safety applications implementing barriers, passageways or even guardrails.
In the current state of the art, it is known to produce a perforated flexible veil formed by a sheet of solid elements obtained by casting hardenable pasty material, which veil is intended to be suspended after manufacture so as to form a flexible screen. able to be substituted as a screen for an interior wall of a dwelling.
A method and a system for manufacturing such a web are described in particular in the French patent published under the reference 2996495B1, which makes it possible to produce a web consisting of a multitude of solid elements arranged uniformly over the entire surface of the sheet and connected to each other by means of high-strength flexible binding threads assembled beforehand in the form of a weft.
The known manufacturing process provides for the manufacture of a matrix which has all the characteristics of the final product, and in particular a regular and uniform arrangement of the solid elements constituting the sheet, and the generation of a mold on the basis of this matrix , which mold having as many cavities as there are solid elements to be integrated by molding, each cavity housing a weft node before casting. A pasty material such as concrete is then poured in a single step into all the cavities of said mold, in order to produce a layer of solid elements arranged in a regular and uniform manner and each encompassing a node of the weft.
Principe de l'inventionPrinciple of the invention
The inventors have observed that, although the known method makes it possible to obtain veils which can advantageously form flexible walls inside dwelling places, this method does not make it possible to obtain screens having irregular patterns. Thus, a layer of solid elements obtained using the known process will often be unsuitable for covering an exterior facade of a building which has openings such as windows, doors, balconies, terraces, etc.
To overcome this drawback, a person skilled in the art could be tempted to initially manufacture a uniform web according to the known process, and then to cut therefrom, after casting and solidification of the solid elements constituting the web, open surfaces corresponding to the openings present on the facade that the sheet is intended to cover, but this would result in a waste of material that would be difficult to reconcile with the environmental constraints currently in force.
Furthermore, the material used to make the frame at the intersections of which the solid elements are cast is insufficiently resistant to allow implementation of known screens outdoors, because such a frame cannot withstand bad weather.
According to a first of its material aspects, the present invention thus proposes a system for manufacturing a sheet of solid elements connected to each other by means of cables assembled beforehand in the form of a frame having a first plurality of nodes where two separate cables are connected to each other, said layer of solid elements including a plurality of solid elements produced by depositing a hardenable pasty material in a mold including a plurality of so-called primitive cavities each including at least one of said weft nodes, system characterized in that it includes means for selecting a second plurality of cavities intended to receive said hardenable pasty material, and means for pouring said material into the selected cavities only.
Indeed, the inventors have considered that it would be more effective and more respectful of the environment to effectively integrate into the sheet only the solid elements ultimately intended to be included therein, which will avoid having to subsequently resort to cutouts generating a waste of resources to produce a tablecloth having irregular patterns.
According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the cables forming the weft are cables made of stainless steel.
Such cables will have a high resistance and are particularly, but not exclusively, suitable for exterior cladding applications of buildings.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the pouring means include a hopper intended to be supplied with concrete and able to be arranged overhanging each of the primitive cavities, said hopper being provided with a nozzle having an exit surface of size smaller than an inlet surface of a primitive cavity, the nozzle being connected to the hopper via a pouring valve.
In this embodiment of the invention, the hopper is successively positioned above each of the cavities to be filled, and, each time the hopper stops above one of these cavities, the pouring valve is opened. thereby allowing a natural flow by gravity of the hardenable pasty material into said cavity from the nozzle.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the pouring valve being electrically controlled, the selection means include a programmable control unit capable of producing an opening/closing control signal for said pouring valve depending the position of the hopper and programming instructions previously received by said programmable control unit.
Such an embodiment allows particularly easy and efficient management of the casting means. Indeed, it allows, on the one hand, to identify by software and in a single step all the cavities intended to receive hardenable pasty material, and, on the other hand, to selectively control the actual casting operations. say by commanding electrically or by radio the opening and closing of the casting valve.
According to a preferred variant of this embodiment, the manufacturing system described above further includes means for setting the hopper in motion in at least two directions together defining a plane substantially parallel to the frame, the control unit programmable being intended to produce control signals for said moving means.
This variant makes it possible to fully automate the manufacture of the sheet by programming the programmable control unit. Indeed, a simple computer file generated upstream according to techniques well known to those skilled in the art will contain, for example, a set of coordinates of the cavities within which hardenable pasty material must be poured in order to produce a sheet pattern as well predetermined, but also a coding representative of the opening/closing signal to be sent to the pouring valve when the hopper is in each position defined by these coordinates, as well as a coding sequence of control signals from said means for movement that will automatically position the hopper in the succession of positions defined by the set of coordinates of the cavities to be filled.
According to a functional aspect, the invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a layer of solid elements connected to each other by means of cables assembled beforehand in the form of a frame having a first plurality of nodes where two cables distinct are connected to each other, said web of solid elements including a plurality of solid elements made by depositing a hardenable pasty material in a mold including a plurality of cavities encompassing said nodes of the weft, method characterized in that it includes a step of selecting a second plurality of cavities intended to receive said hardenable pasty material, and a step of pouring said material into the selected cavities only.
. une étape de nettoyage des moyens mis en œuvre pour réaliser l’étape de coulage précédemment exécutée;
According to a variant of this functional aspect, the invention also relates to a manufacturing method as defined above, characterized in that it further includes at least:
. a step of cleaning the means used to carry out the casting step previously carried out;
. a step of selecting a new plurality of cavities intended to accommodate a new hardenable pasty material having a color different from that of the material used to carry out the casting step previously performed; And
. a step of casting said new material only in the newly selected cavities.
This variant of the invention makes it possible to produce multicolored webs, which the manufacturing process known from the state of the art does not allow.
According to a second of its material aspects, the invention also relates to a sheet of solid elements obtained by implementing a process in accordance with the preceding description.
