Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de détection d'un objet sur une surface de route, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à projeter un motif lumineux (6) sur la surface de la route (5), à acquérir une image du motif lumineux projeté (6), à détecter une ombre (7) dans l'image acquise et à utiliser certaines caractéristiques de l'ombre (7) pour obtenir des informations sur les caractéristiques d'un objet. L'invention propose également un procédé de conduite autonome utilisant cette détection d'objet et un dispositif d'éclairage automobile (1).Figure pour le résumé : figure 2
