L’invention concerne une installation de stockage (1) pour gaz liquéfié, la cuve (71) comportant une paroi de plafond (4) étant interrompue localement de manière à délimiter une ouverture de chargement/déchargement (7), dans laquelle les blocs isolants secondaires (14) comportent un bloc isolant secondaire d’extrémité (34) adjacent à l’ouverture de chargement/déchargement (7), dans laquelle l’installation de stockage comporte au moins deux supports de fixation (26) fixé à la paroi porteuse supérieure (8) et situés de part et d’autre du bloc isolant d’extrémité (34), la barrière thermiquement isolante secondaire comportant une plaque d’arrêt secondaire disposée sur le bloc isolant secondaire d’extrémité (34), dans laquelle la plaque d’arrêt secondaire et les chapeaux secondaires (29) forment une surface de support plane pour la membrane d’étanchéité secondaire (11), et dans laquelle la membrane d’étanchéité secondaire (11) est fixée d’une part au chapeau secondaire (29) des deux supports de fixation (26) et d’autre part à la plaque d’arrêt secondaire.
