Capteur (1) de proximité capacitif comprenant un microcontrôleur (20) configuré pour réaliser des mesures selon un schéma prédéterminé répétitif, ledit schéma comprenant une série de N mesures consécutives, N étant un nombre entier naturel supérieur ou égal à trois, dans laquelle, la durée entre deux conversions analogique-numérique consécutives de la première mesure de la série étant appelée durée de référence, la durée entre deux conversions analogique-numérique d’une mesure m de la série, m étant un nombre entier naturel compris entre 2 et N, est définie comme étant égale à la durée de référence additionnée du produit de (m-1) par une durée unitaire additionnelle prédéterminée.
