Volant (10) de véhicule comprenant :- une partie centrale (16) telle qu’un moyeu de volant ;- une structure mobile (12) comportant au moins une portion d’une jante montée pivotante par rapport à la partie centrale (16) entre : - une position de conduite dans laquelle le véhicule peut être dirigé par un conducteur ; - et au moins une position escamotée ;- un actionneur (18) d’entraînement en pivotement de la structure mobile (12) entre la position de conduite et la position escamotée ;- un mécanisme de transmission (20) de mouvement entre l’actionneur (18) et la structure mobile (12), caractérisé en ce que le mécanisme de transmission (20) comprend un limiteur de couple (100).
