Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d’engagement (1) d’une tête sphérique dans un insert , ladite tête sphérique étant configurée pour être fixée sur une partie fémorale d’une prothèse et ledit insert étant configuré pour être inséré dans une cupule en vue de former un cotyle destiné à être fixé dans un os iliaque du patient, ledit dispositif (1) ayant un axe longitudinal (AL) et un axe transversal (AT), une partie proximale (P1) et une partie distale (P2) et étant caractérisé en ce qu’il comprend : - un corps (4) comprenant des moyens de support de l’insert, - une tige (10) pourvue d’une crémaillère (11), ladite tige (10) comprenant une extrémité proximale (E1) et une extrémité distale (E2) et - des moyens d’entrainement (12) supportés par le corps (4) conçus pour s’engrener dans ladite crémaillère (11).
