Abstract

« Procédé d’inertage d’accumulateurs électrochimiques, notamment métal-ion, par immersion initiale dans une solution de nitrite de sodium puis dans une solution de chlorure de sodium.  » L’invention concerne un procédé d’inertage d’accumulateurs électrochimiques (A), notamment métal-ion, comprenant les étapes suivantes: i/ immersion d’un lot d’accumulateurs dans une solution de concentration préalablement déterminée de nitrite de sodium (NaNO2), de sorte à déterminer, au sein du lot, le nombre X d’accumulateurs dont l’électrochimie est active, ii/ une fois l’étape i/ achevée, immersion dans une solution de chlorure de sodium (NaCl) d’au moins une partie des X accumulateurs électrochimiquement actifs.
