Procédé de contrôle de la présence d’objets sur un emplacement non autorisé d’une cabine d’aéronef, comprenant les étapes suivantes : la détection (100) d’un objet posé sur l’emplacement non autorisé à partir de valeurs de pression mesurées à la surface de l’emplacement non autorisé ; la détermination (200) de la forme de l’objet détecté à partir des valeurs de pression obtenues ; la comparaison (300) par un algorithme entraîné par apprentissage machine de la forme de l’objet détecté avec des formes de référence associées à une empreinte de pied ou de chaussure et stockées sur une base de données ; et l’identification (400) par ledit algorithme d’une forme non associée à une empreinte de pied ou de chaussure.
