L’invention concerne un banc d’essai (1) pour solliciter en torsion une pièce (100) d’une turbomachine d’aéronef, comprenant : - une pièce (100) à tester ayant un axe d’allongement vertical (Z), - un système d’application (2) d’un couple de rotation à la pièce (100) autour dudit axe (Z), - au moins un élément de guidage (3), et - un système de reprise (4) du couple caractérisé en ce qu’il comprend : - un palonnier (20), - un portique (30) comportant deux montants verticaux (31a, 31b) et au moins une poutre horizontale (32a, 32b), - des vérins de liaison (40a, 40b) du palonnier (20) aux montants (31a, 31b).
