L’invention concerne un système de détection radar (1) d’un véhicule (2), ledit système de détection radar (1) comprenant un capteur radar (10) configuré pour scanner l’environnement extérieur du véhicule (2), ledit capteur radar (10) comprenant :- un émetteur (11) configuré pour générer une pluralité d’ondes radar (S1),- un récepteur (12) configuré pour traiter une pluralité d’ondes radar (S2),- plusieurs antennes (13), - une carte à circuit imprimé (14) sur laquelle sont disposés ledit émetteur (11), ledit récepteur (12) et les antennes (13), - un radôme (15), caractérisé en ce que les antennes (13) sont en partie en contact avec un matériau (16) de permittivité diélectrique (ε2) supérieure à la permittivité diélectrique (ε1) de l’air.
