Un ensemble de siège de véhicule comprend un siège de véhicule (10) avec une assise (14), l’assise (14) comportant une armature d’assise (15) ; une glissière (12) comportant deux mécanismes de glissière (28), chaque mécanisme de glissière (28) comportant un profilé fixe (30) destiné à être fixé sur un plancher (32) de l’habitacle du véhicule automobile, et un profilé mobile (22) reçu dans le profilé fixe (30) associé, chaque profilé mobile (22) étant fixé à l’armature d’assise (15) ; une traverse (46) destinée à être fixée aux profilés fixes (30) des mécanismes de glissière (28), de préférence au voisinage d’une extrémité avant (30a) des profilés fixes (30) des mécanismes de glissière (28).
