Abstract

Chaîne de traction pour un véhicule ferroviaire et véhicule ferroviaire associé La présente invention concerne une chaîne de traction (10) pour un véhicule ferroviaire, la chaîne de traction (10) étant alimentée par une source d’alimentation électrique (16) fournissant une tension, dite tension d’alimentation, la chaîne de traction (10) comprenant : - deux moteurs de traction (12), - deux paires (24A, 24B) sensiblement identiques d’onduleurs (30), les onduleurs (30) de chaque paire (24A, 24B) étant propres à alimenter un même moteur de traction (12) distinct de l’autre paire d’onduleurs (24A, 24B), - des moyens de commutation (26) propres à configurer les deux paires d’onduleurs (24A, 24B) en série ou en parallèle de sorte que la tension aux bornes de chaque paire d’onduleurs (24A, 24B) est égale à : la tension d’alimentation lorsque les paires d’onduleurs (24A, 24B) sont connectées en parallèle, et la moitié de la tension d’alimentation lorsque les paires d’onduleurs (24A, 24B) sont connectées en série.
