Abstract

Description

Modular Handbag System

The invention relates to mobility accessories, and in particular handbags.

Since the volume contained in a handbag can vary as well as its conditions of use, there is a need to be able to modify its carrying capacity or the way it is worn.

The invention aims to solve one or more of these drawbacks. The invention thus relates to a handbag system, comprising:

a handbag comprising a first envelope defining a storage volume, first and second fixing eyelets distant from one another and integral with the first envelope;

-first and second straps, the first strap comprising third and fourth fixing eyelets, the second strap comprising fifth and sixth fixing eyelets;

-First to third carabiners configured to selectively attach to the first to sixth eyelets.

The invention also relates to the following variants. Those skilled in the art will understand that each of the characteristics of the following variants can be combined independently with the above characteristics, without constituting an intermediate generalization.

According to a variant, the handbag system further comprises a pocket, the pocket comprising a second envelope defining a storage volume, seventh and eighth fixing eyelets spaced from one another and secured to the second envelope, the distance between the seventh and eighth eyelets being the same as the distance between the first and second eyelets.

According to another variant, the first and second fixing eyelets are attached to a first strip integral with the first envelope, the handbag further comprising ninth and tenth attachment eyelets attached to a second strip integral with the first envelope, the ninth and tenth fixing eyelets being positioned vis-à-vis the first and second fixing eyelets respectively.

According to yet another variant, the first and second bands are separated by an access space to the storage volume of the first envelope.

According to yet another variant, the distance between the third and fourth eyelet and the distance between the fifth and sixth eyelets are at least equal to 350 mm.

According to one variant, the distance between the first and second eyelets is at least equal to 120 mm.

In general, a handbag system according to the invention will include:

-a handbag comprising an envelope defining a storage volume, two fixing eyelets spaced from one another and integral with the envelope;

-two straps, each comprising two fixing straps;

-Three carabiners configured to selectively attach to eyelets.

Figure 1 illustrates a handbag 2 of one embodiment of a system according to the invention. Figure 3 illustrates two straps of one embodiment of a system according to the invention. Figure 4 illustrates a replicable carabiner for carabiners of one embodiment of a system according to the invention.

The handbag 2 of FIG. 1 comprises an envelope 20 defining a storage volume. The storage volume is here accessible through an access space 27 and here closed by a closure. The handbag 2 has fixing eyelets 21 and 23, spaced from each other along a longitudinal axis. The fixing eyelets 21 and 23 are integral with the casing 20. The fixing eyelets 21 and 23 are here fixed to a strip 25, integral with the casing 20. The fixing eyelets 21 and 23 can be made in the form of a 'Metal rings riveted on the strip 25. The fixing eyelets 21 and 23 each have a through median opening.

In the illustrated embodiment, the handbag 2 further comprises a strip 26 integral with the casing 20. Fastening eyelets 22 and 24 are attached to the strip 26. These fastening eyelets 22 and 24 are positioned as a screw. -to the fixing eyelets 21 and 23, the distance between the fixing eyelets 22 and 24 being identical to the distance between the fixing eyelets 21 and 23. The fixing eyelets 22 and 24 can be made in the form of metal rings riveted to the strip 26. The fixing eyelets 22 and 24 each have a through median opening. The access space 27 to the storage volume is here provided between the bands 25 and 26. The bands 25 and 26 can be contiguous, in order to superimpose the eyelets 22 and 24 on the eyelets 21 and 23 respectively.

Figure 3 is a top view of a pair of straps 4 and 5 of a handbag system according to one embodiment. The straps 4 and 5 are intended to allow a modification of the carrying configuration of the handbag 2. The straps 4 and 5 here have an identical structure. The strap 4 has a strip 40 (for example of textile or leather). A fastening eyelet 41 is attached to a first end of the strip 40. A fastening eyelet 43 is attached to a second end of the strip 40. The fastening eyelets 41 and 43 can be made in the form of metal rings riveted to each other. the band 40. The fixing eyelets 41 and 43 each have a through median opening. The strap 5 has a strip 50. A fastening eyelet 51 is attached to a first end of the strip 50. A fastening eyelet 53 is attached to a second end of the strip 50. The fastening eyelets 51 and 53 can be provided. in the form of metal rings riveted to the strip 50. The fixing eyelets 51 and 53 each have a through median opening.

Figure 4 is a front view of an example of a carabiner 6 that can be used for carabiners of one embodiment of a bag system according to the invention. Such a carabiner 6 is configured so as to be able to selectively attach or release itself from the eyelets 21 to 24 and 41 and 43. Such a carabiner 6 thus presents, in a manner known per se, a ring surrounding a central opening 60. The central opening 60 is made. accessible via a latch 61 pivoting between an open position and a closed position of the ring. The latch 61 thus selectively provides access to the middle opening 60 in order to be able to secure the eyelets to the ring.

Figures 5-7 and 9 illustrate different configurations of the handbag system. Depending on the method of wearing chosen for the handbag 2. To simplify the understanding of each of the configurations, the eyelets and elements passing through each of the carabiners used for the different configurations are illustrated in section. The straps 4 and 5 where applicable are illustrated in dotted lines in Figures 5 to 7 and 9, in order to facilitate understanding.

The configuration of FIG. 5 corresponds in particular to being carried by hand with a short strap. For this configuration, strap 4 is used. A first carabiner 6 passes through the eyelet 21 (and here advantageously through the eyelet 22). A second carabiner 6 passes through eyelet 23 (and here advantageously through eyelet 24). Furthermore, the second carabiner 6 passes through the eyelets 41 and 43, while the band 40 passes through the first carabiner 6. Thus, the band 40 is folded back on itself to form a carrying handle of a length corresponding to the length. less to the distance between the eyelets 21 and 23, and corresponding substantially to half the length of the strip 40.

Due to the fact that the first carabiner passes through the eyelets 21 and 22 and that the second carabiner passes through the eyelets 23 and 24 makes it possible to close the access space 27 by means of the carabiners 6. Moreover, such a configuration makes it possible to keep bag 2 upright with forces distributed between bands 25 and 26.

The configuration in Figure 6 corresponds to a shoulder port with a mid-length strap. For this configuration, strap 4 is used. A first carabiner 6 passes through the eyelet 21 (and here advantageously through the eyelet 22). A second carabiner 6 passes through eyelet 23 (and here advantageously through eyelet 24). Furthermore, the first karabiner 6 passes through the eyelet 41. The second karabiner 6 here passes through the eyelet 43. Thus, the strip 40 extends over its entire length to form a shoulder strap. According to a variant, the eyelets 22 and 24 are secured to respective carabiners, in order to fix the strap 5 in parallel with the strap 4.

The configuration of FIG. 7 corresponds to a cross-body, a strap passing through one shoulder, the bag 2 resting against an opposite hip of the user. For this configuration, straps 4 and 5 are used. A first carabiner 6 passes through the eyelet 21 (and here advantageously through the eyelet 22). The first karabiner 6 also goes through the eyelet 41 of the strap 4. A second karabiner 6 goes through the eyelet 23 (and here advantageously through the eyelet 24). The second karabiner 6 also passes through the eyelet 53 of the strap 5. A third karabiner 6 passes through the eyelets 43 and 51, of the straps 4 and 5 respectively. Thus, the shoulder strap formed by the straps 4 and 5 extends over a length substantially equal to the combined lengths of the straps 4 and 5, to allow it to be worn over the shoulder.

The configuration of FIG. 9 corresponds in particular to being carried by hand with a relatively long waist strap. For this configuration, straps 4 and 5 are used. A first carabiner 6 passes through the eyelet 21 (and here advantageously through the eyelet 22). A second carabiner 6 passes through eyelet 23 (and here advantageously through eyelet 24). Furthermore, the first snap hook 6 passes through the eyelets 41 and 43, while the strip 40 passes through a third snap hook 6. Thus, the strip 40 is folded back on itself. Furthermore, the first carabiner 6 passes through the eyelet 53 and the third carabiner 6 passes through the eyelet 51. Thus, the shoulder strap formed by the straps 4 and 5 extends over a length substantially equal to the cumulative lengths of the strap. 5 and half of the strap 4, to allow it to be worn over the shoulder.

The handbag system according to the invention thus makes it possible to easily obtain different modes of carrying the handbag 2, from components that are simple and easy to handle.

Figure 2 is a perspective view of a handbag system according to another variant. According to this variant, in addition to the handbag 2 as illustrated in FIG. 1, the system comprises a pocket 3. The pocket 3 comprises an envelope 30 defining a storage volume, generally of a smaller size than the envelope. 20. Such a pocket 3 makes it possible for example to have a removable element attached to the handbag 2, to serve as a wallet or card holder for example.

The pouch 3 has a strip 35. The pouch 3 has fixing eyelets 31 and 33, spaced from each other along a longitudinal axis. The fixing eyelets 31 and 33 are integral with the casing 30. The fixing eyelets 31 and 33 are here fixed to a strip 35, integral with the casing 30. The fixing eyelets 31 and 33 can be made in the form of a 'Metal rings riveted on the strip 35. The fixing eyelets 31 and 33 each have a through median opening. The distance between the fixing eyelets 31 and 33 is here identical to the distance between the fixing eyelets 21 and 23 of the handbag 2.

FIG. 8 illustrates a configuration combining the handbag 2 and the pouch 3 to allow them to be worn by the same strap system. For this configuration, strap 4 is used. A first carabiner 6 passes through the eyelet 21 (and here advantageously through the eyelet 22) of the handbag 2 and through the eyelet 31 of the pouch 3. A second carabiner 6 passes through the eyelet 23 (and here advantageously through the eyelet 24) of the handbag 2 and through the eyelet 33 of the pouch 3. Furthermore, the first carabiner 6 passes through the eyelet 41. The second carabiner 6 passes through the eyelet 43. Thus, the band 40 extends over its entire length to form a shoulder strap. According to a variant, the eyelets 22 and 24 are secured to respective carabiners, in order to fix the strap 5 in parallel with the strap 4.

Such a configuration makes it possible to carry the pouch 3 with the same strap system as the handbag 2. Furthermore, this configuration makes it possible to separate the pouch 3 from the strap system without undoing the strap system of the handbag 2. The pouch 3 can thus be secured / detached from the handbag 2 while the latter is being worn. It is also possible to assemble several pouches 3 to the handbag 2 with this same system.

Advantageously, to allow optimal wearing configurations, the distance between the eyelets 41 and 43 and the distance between the eyelets 51 and 53 are at least equal to 350 mm.

Advantageously, to allow optimal wearing in handbag mode, the distance between the eyelets 21 and 23 is at least equal to 120 mm, preferably at least equal to 180 mm.

Claims (6)

Handbag system, characterized in that it comprises:
a handbag comprising a first envelope (20) defining a storage volume, first and second fixing eyelets (21, 23) distant from one another and integral with the first envelope;
-first and second straps (4, 5), the first strap comprising third and fourth fixing eyelets (41, 43), the second strap comprising fifth and sixth fixing eyelets (51, 53);
-First to third carabiners (6) configured to selectively attach to the first to sixth eyelets. A handbag system according to claim 1, further comprising a pocket (3), the pocket comprising a second envelope (30) defining a storage volume, seventh and eighth attachment eyelets (31, 33) spaced apart from one another. on the other and integral with the second envelope (30), the distance between the seventh and eighth eyelets being identical to the distance between the first and second eyelets. A handbag system according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the first and second attachment eyelets are attached to a first strip (25) integral with the first envelope, the handbag further comprising ninth and tenth attachment eyelets. (22, 24) fixed to a second strip (26) integral with the first casing (20), the ninth and tenth fixing eyelets (22,24) being positioned opposite the first and second fixing eyelets respectively . A handbag system according to any preceding claim, wherein the distance between the first and second eyelets (21, 23) is at least 120mm.
