L’invention concerne une installation (1) de gazéification hydrothermale de biomasse, comprenant: - un réacteur de gazéification (2) adapté pour mettre en œuvre une gazéification hydrothermale ; - un système (6) de détente du flux aqueux tolérant la présence t de particules solides, relié en aval du réacteur, comprenant au moins deux branches fluidiques (62 ; 63) en parallèle, chacune des branches comprenant : • au moins deux vannes à deux voies (64, 68 ; 65, 69), • au moins un réservoir formant un sas (66 ; 67), agencé entre les deux vannes à deux voies. Elle concerne également le procédé de fonctionnement associé.
