Abstract

L'invention concerne un fourreau (103) d’une colonne de direction comportant un tube extérieur (101) et un tube intérieur (102) mobiles en translation et un système de réglage (10) de leur position relative comprenant une vis de réglage (200) de la position axiale des deux éléments et un dispositif de réglage (100) d’un effort résistant s’opposant au mouvement relatif entre les tubes, le dispositif de réglage comprenant un patin de friction et une surface de serrage contre laquelle vient le patin de friction mobile entre des positions d’utilisation et de réglage, le système de réglage comprenant une chaîne cinématique (12) pour qu’au-delà d’un couple résistant seuil transmis par la vis de réglage à un moteur (11) unique qui l’entraîne, son couple est transmis au dispositif de réglage de sorte à déplacer le patin de friction de sa position d’utilisation vers sa position de réglage.
