Abstract

AERONEF COMPORTANT DES RESERVOIRS A HYDROGENE L’invention concerne un aéronef (100) ayant un plan de symétrie (XZ) et comportant un fuselage (102) dans lequel est délimité un espace pressurisé (101), de part et d’autre du fuselage (102), une aile (104) supportée par la structure, et au moins un système de propulsion (106) comportant un moteur (108), ainsi qu’un réservoir tribord d’hydrogène (118a) et un réservoir bâbord d’hydrogène (118b), chacun étant fixé à la structure en dehors de l’espace pressurisé (101), et disposé de part et d’autre du plan de symétrie (XZ). Le moteur (108) de chaque système de propulsion (106) est alimenté en énergie à partir d’hydrogène issu d’au moins un desdits au moins un réservoir tribord ou au moins un réservoir bâbord. Un tel arrangement permet d’équilibrer l’aéronef et de réduire le diamètre des réservoirs en multipliant leur nombre et par conséquent de réduire la traînée de l’aéronef. The engine (108) of each propulsion system (106) is powered by hydrogen from at least one of said at least one starboard tank or at least one port tank. Such an arrangement makes it possible to balance the aircraft and to reduce the diameter of the tanks by multiplying their number and consequently to reduce the drag of the aircraft. Fig. 1
