Abstract

L’invention concerne une cuve intégrée dans une structure flottante, dans laquelle la cuve comprend une paroi de cuve comportant : une barrière thermiquement isolante (2, 5) incluant d’une pluralité de panneaux isolants (7, 8), chaque panneau isolant (7, 8) comportant une surface supérieure formant une surface de support, au moins deux panneaux isolants (7, 8) juxtaposés l’un à l’autre dans la direction longitudinale (L) étant espacés par un espace inter-panneaux (15, 21), la barrière thermiquement isolante (2, 5) comprenant une cale de jointure (16) placée dans l’espace inter-panneaux (15, 21), une membrane d’étanchéité (4) comportant une bande plane s’étendant dans la direction longitudinale (L) sur la surface de support et sur la ou les cales de jointure, dans laquelle au moins une dite cale de jointure (16) est configurée pour qu’une surface supérieure (17) de la cale de jointure (16) soit située en dessous de la surface de support dans une direction d’épaisseur (E) et que ladite surface supérieure (17) soit espacée de la surface de support dans la direction d’épaisseur (E) d’une distance non nulle et inférieure à un écart-maximal-en-service prédéterminé lorsque la cuve est dans un état de chargement en gaz liquéfié.
