Procédé de personnalisation d’un article (1), de type bijou, vêtement, accessoire de mode, article de maroquinerie, article de bagagerie, article de lunetterie, article d’horlogerie ou autre article personnalisable, ledit procédé de personnalisation mettant en œuvre les étapes suivantes : - préparation d’une composition d’identification (4) comprenant une solution de base dans laquelle sont dilués au moins un échantillon d’ADN et au moins un colorant, de sorte que ladite composition d’identification présente un code couleur d’identification personnel ;- enchâssement étanche de ladite composition d’identification sur l’article (1), à l’intérieur d’un contenant (3) étanche délimité par des parois dont l’une au moins présente une zone transparente autorisant une analyse optique de colorimétrie de la composition d’identification pour mesurer le code couleur d’identification personnel sans ouvrir le contenant (3).
